We are excited to welcome your family to our program where we provide a nurturing, stimulating and welcoming environment for all children. Our unique program incorporates a variety of educational theories while always keeping the child’s personal pace and best interest in mind. The Growing Nest nurtures the growing mind.
From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression, children at The Growing Nest are constantly exposed to new activities and environments in which to thrive. WHO WE ARE
The Growing Nest is a Maryland State Department of Education - Office of Child Care
(MSDE-OCC) Licensed Child Care program.
We are family operated and oriented educators and childcare providers with over 20 years of experience in the world of Early Childhood education.
We have carefully designed our learning space to nurture the emotional, intellectual and physical growth of each child. Through stimulating age appropriate activities and hands-on learning experiences, children at The Growing Nest have the opportunity to develop their growing minds.

WHAT IS THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS?

HOW DOES THE GROWING NEST MAKE HEALTH & SAFETY A PRIORITY?
Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of our children, families and our team. We keep our facility as clean and germ-free as possible by offering:
Rapid drop-off and pick-up procedures to limit potential spread of germs entering our building
Temperature checks and health screening questions are completed at drop-off each day
Children and staff wash hands immediately upon entering the building
Practicing social distancing
Staff wear masks at all times and parents are required to wear a mask during drop-off
Rigorous cleaning & sanitizing routines
HOW DOES THE GROWING NEST COMMUNICATE WITH FAMILIES?
We understand the importance of creating a partnership with the families we serve. A successful partnership means open communication between staff and families. The Growing Nest team makes every effort to keep families informed by using several methods that include daily verbal communication, weekly written communication and photos/videos.
